This project is called pleased to meet you. It explores how to use traditional analog and digital imagery to communicate aspects of my personality by making a self-portrait. The three adjectives that describe and define my personality are: fearless, peaceful, and empathetic. The images are carefully taken with each word emphasized.
The finished project is 12 x 18 inches flat with vertical orientation using a CMYK color space. Each image is tinted using 100% of cyan, magenta, or yellow. The front page has all three images that describe my personality overlayed. The overprint feature in InDesign was utilized hoping the audience can see one complicated image that portrays all three attributes of myself. The back page was to employ a metaphoric mode of representation to communicate pre-defined attributes. The final project was digitally printed and folded in French fold style, creating eight pages.

The overview of the back page. This x-ray image of my back was taken in the past. It was intentionally chosen for this project because I genuinely want to be a person who can be dependable and reliable to people I care about. Also, it includes a little pun. The original image was in black & white, but the grayscale feature was used, and contrast was slightly adjusted to make the image more eye-catching.
